'Gandalf', Larry Koons Is the Riders Group President, 
 

He is a First 18 Charter member and has many Duties as the President such as;
 
  •  Presiding officer of all VFWRG meetings.  The President will act as a liaison between the VFWRG and the sponsoring unit and community organizations.  The President will request, from the VFWRG, approval for all events and expenditures of VFWRG dedicated funds.  The President will give a monthly report of the unit’s activities.
  • The President keeps the Riders organized.
  • The President ensures that VFW Rider business is carried  out efficiently, effectively and honorably.
  • The President oversees the audit and use of all organizational funds, those raised by the organization, as well as those funded by our sponsoring post, VFW Post 3619.
  • If needed, the President, with the approval of the VFW Riders Committee, appoints a subcommittee Chairperson for special projects/functions.
